The Phoenix Scale Technologies FF4i is one of the most accurate four idler scale available today. This conveyor belt scale consistently offers the highest accuracy in our line of full floating scales. The unique system of check links allows the weighbridge to be completely suspended from the load cells with out the use of pivots.

The model FF4i utilizes the same full floating weighbridge design as our dual and three idler models with the addition of two load cells. The four idler scale suspends the weigh bridge by six "S" type load cells which allows this system to consistently perform at an accuracty of < +/- 0.125% in factory approved installations. The full floating weighbridge utilizes 1/2" x 4" solid steel to avoid any deflection during high capactiy weighing applications. The use of six load cells shortens the distances between suspension points to provide better accuracy.

Like the dual and three idler scales the FF4i uses the Phoenix under belt speed sensor for belt speed input into the integrator. The Phoenix under belt speed sensor is a positive contact design with the electronics housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure. The Phoenix under belt speed sensor contacts the underside of the loaded belt to give the most accurate representation of the actual belt speed.

The Legend III integrator is used in all of Phoenix Scale Technologies quality belt scales. The Legend III integrator is a micro processor based unit with virtually unlimited options for any special applications you might have. This intricate electronic unit is housed in a NEMA 4x stainless steel enclosure to withstand the harshest environments.
